Elijah is often regarded as a giant among the many prophets in the Old Testament and his faithfulness with God, his enduring leadership and mission during a turbulent time in Israel’s history is an inspiration for all of us who desire to be faithful and courageous when we are on mission for Christ.
Like the life of Elijah, being involved in Christian ministry is often fraught with uncertainty, difficulties, disappointments and desolation but growing in faithfulness, discernment of God’s will through prayer, integration of one’s mental, emotional and spiritual maturity is critical to the maturing leader.
The ELIJAH Leadership Journey is designed to accompany Catholic leaders who have been active in ministry, with a few years of experience in leadership roles, to embark on a discerning journey to further strengthen their human and spiritual formation so that they can sustain their leadership especially in the midst of adversity and discouragement.
If you have begun your interior journey and have a foundation in leadership, the ELIJAH Leadership Journey will help strengthen your call to lead and support further growth in self, relational, and organisational leadership. It will also help you deepen in spiritual maturity, grow in discernment, and navigate the challenges of leadership with clarity and compassion.
